MORE SUCCESS STORIES RELEASED BY FOUNDER ORDER
(Hong Kong - October 18, 2000) Founder Holdings Limited (SEHK: 418) announces today that more orders have recently been received by Beijing Founder Order Computer System Co., Ltd. , ("Founder Order") one of its China subsidiaries. The said orders include a "Golden Taxation" system for five provinces and Shanghai Industrial & Commercial Bank of China's documentation center , phase II.
Founder Order "Golden Taxation" Network System
Founder Order one of the most important system integrators for China's taxation authorities. Last year saw Founder Order's winning a "Golden Taxation" contract for two provinces and four cities. Recently, Founder Order won a second tender from among many strong competitors for "Golden Taxation" system construction in more cities and provinces. Altogether, Founder Order are involved in "Golden Taxation" system construction in five provinces - namely - Hunan province, Hubei province, Shichuan province, Guizhou province and Xizang (Tibet) province. The said construction, scheduled to be finalized by the end of 2000, comprises a total of 769 construction sites, the entire contract amount closing up to 56 million yen (RMB).
As a significant part of China's state economic networking system, "Golden Taxation" Project is integral to China's nation-wide taxation networking system. An important section of the said system is to set up a nation-wide VAT-featured specialized invoice checking system. The setup of the said system will thus be significant to beating VAT related criminal acts and strengthening China's taxation system. The said system forms an integral part of China's national information super-highway; it also constitutes foundation for China's e-taxation systems in future.
Shanghai ICBC's Documentation Center (Phase II)
In December1998, it is Founder Order who helped Shanghai Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ("ICBC") set up its documentation center. In the Asia Pacific region, it is Shanghai ICBC that owns the largest-scale banking documentation center, with the most advanced integrated system. Now, almost two years later, Shanghai ICBC would like to expand the scale of the said center; that's how the two parties join hand again. According to news from Founder Order on this Shanghai ICBC's documentation center project (phase II), the expansion of scale is effected through an addition of 16 sets of Kodak 9520DP High-speed Scanner plus 5 sets of Plasmon Storage Device, which altogether amounts to a contract of 2.3 million USD. A daily throughput rate of 600,000 sheets is expected after the expansion of scale.
