(Hong Kong - 1 December, 2000) Beijing Founder Order Computer System Co., Ltd ("Founder Order"), the software development and systems integration arm of Founder Holdings Limited (SEHK: 418) in Mainland China, recently outbid a number of local and foreign competitors and won the tender to exclusively undertake the PICC 95518 Call Centre System for People's Insurance Company of China ("PICC") over the entire Mainland China region. Based on its self-developed ISC200 multimedia call-centre platform technology, Founder Order will develop the call centre system for PICC and will provide other services, such as systems integration, software development and engineering execution. After the completion of the said System, PICC will have an extensive and comprehensive eCRM (Customer Relationship Management) network, covering all stages of insurance (from insurance application and re-application process to claims process). The use of the System is going to greatly improve the quality of PICC's service.

Over the past few years, "Call Centre" has become more popular in the area of marketing as it will enhance the relationship between an enterprise and its customers. PICC is the biggest asset insurance company in Mainland China. They set up China's first nation-wide dedicated insurance hotline 95518 system in July this year. Considering the said hotline system as a step-stone, PICC aims to go further by establishing a nation-wide comprehensive insurance eCRM network, providing comprehensive and convenient insurance services to the public.

There are two things especially striking about PICC 95518 Call Centre System. First, largeness of scale. With 236 nodes dotting all provinces (except Qinghai Province), autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, powerful eXchanges are adopted in 30 major cities. Having ample experiences in managing large-scale projects, Founder Order expects that the PICC 95518 Call Centre System will be ready for regular operation in the first half of 2001. Second, localisation of service. PICC has clients all over China, whose living and thinking habits, not just their accents and dialects, could well differ from region to region. The nation-wide system in question is, therefore, tailor-made by Founder Order for PICC, to satisfy the different needs of its customers from different regions on one hand and to provide a consistent eCRM procedure on the other hand. Consequently, clients from different regions could well receive localised and standardised services with high quality.

For the establishment of PICC's nation-wide call centre network, Founder Order provides a fully integrated systems integration solution. Such System will fully integrate the characteristics of the insurance business so as to meet the needs of the clients. After completion of the said System, almost all insurance procedures will be covered - from insurance consultation, application confirmation to claims reporting and claims processing - via telephone, fax, websites, e-mail, etc. The System also offers great transparency and maneuverability to clients, when clients can have easy access to all details relating to their insurance policies.

Through the construction of the said PICC nation-wide call centre system, Founder Order has demonstrated its capacity in handling large-scale projects. The System not only helps PICC standardise their services, but also improves the efficiency of the internal management of PICC.
