(Hong Kong, 18 November 2001) On a sunny Sunday, some 10,000 staff and their family members attended the Hutchison Whampoa Group Annual Family and Sports Day. Some of these attending the event for their first time were from new companies in the Group.
Officiating at the opening ceremony, Mr Li Ka-shing, Chairman of the Group gave a speech to encourage staff. The day's programme is plentiful, including stage performances, contest and game booths set up by the subsidiaries of Hutchison.
