Hong Kong, 5th May, 2003 - Hutchison Global Communications ("HGC") and PowerCom Network Hong Kong Limited ("PowerCom") today jointly announced the exclusive introduction of Yes TV Plus to their broadband service customers. Yes TV Plus is a multi-media platform which provides sports, news and music entertainment TV programmes on personal computers. Yes TV Plus is provided by Yes Television, a leading broadband solutions provider which has launched their Pay TV platform in Hong Kong.
Exclusively available at www.net-yan.com, the service initially offers three channels - Channel NewsAsia, The Soundtrack Channel and highly popular MUTV (Manchester United Television) which is broadcast for the first time in Hong Kong via Yes TV Plus. Both Channel NewsAsia and The Soundtrack Channel are free while MUTV is available at a monthly subscription of $15. More programmes will be added later this year.

Channel NewsAsia is a regional broadcast channel that brings viewers up-to-the minute news on topics ranging from politics, finance, business, and technology to lifestyle and entertainment. - Channel NewsAsia is owned and managed by MediaCorp News Pte Ltd, a news arm of Media Corporation of Singapore (MediaCorp).
The Soundtrack Channel is a new channel for cable and satellite featuring the hottest music of the movies and television, bringing viewers up close and personal with the celebrities, behind the movie making process, and the latest movie news from Hollywood.
MUTV is the official TV channel of Manchester United Football Club. All MU matches are broadcast in full on a delay. It also covers the latest news on the MU team and exclusive interviews with the MU players.
