News release
9th February 2005
3, the UK's first video mobile network, has announced that music fans with video mobiles are able to watch Natasha Bedingfield's hotly anticipated new video a week before the rest of the UK can see it.
'I Bruise easily' is premiering on 3 from Tuesday, 8th February - available exclusively for a week for over 2.5 million customers on 3 to watch on their mobiles. The video is available 5 weeks in advance of the release of the single on 14th March.
The news comes as Natasha has emerged as the most watched UK artist on 3's video jukebox and it marks yet another extraordinary chapter in her short career. "These Words" was a number one single for her last year and her debut album, 'Unwritten', released in September, has now gone double platinum in the UK. She has also been nominated for BRIT Awards in 4 categories - British Female Solo Artist, British Single, British Breakthrough Act, and Pop Act - which will be decided on February 9th.
Natasha says, 'I'm keen to support any new way to bring music to fans. It's incredible that you can now watch music videos on your mobile. I'm really excited that my videos have been so popular with 3 customers and I hope they enjoy watching 'I bruise easily' as much as I enjoyed making it.'
3's Marketing Director, Graeme Oxby, said: 'Natasha's been a big hit with our customers so we're offering them an exclusive sneak preview of her video a week before the rest of the nation."
