TOM.COM LIMITED will launch a multi-lingual mega-portal of "infotainment" content, TOM.COM, targeting both PRC and global audiences to "Bring China to the World and the World to China".

Mr Chang will lead TOM.COM's business strategies, build the professional teams behind management and the operations, branding as well as marketing of this unique mega portal of China-related content.

Also, a priority on Mr Chang's agenda is to explore strategic partnerships with quality content providers. "Exclusive partnership with unique and dynamic content providers is fundamental to the success of this content-rich portal. We will continue to team up with leading content partners to create a diverse range of exclusive content available on our portal," said Mr Chang.

Mr Chang has been Metro Broadcasting's CEO since February 1998. He possesses extensive broadcasting and media experience. Before joining Metro, he was General Manager of Commercial Radio Group, General Manager of Television Enterprise International and Rock Communication's President. Upon joining TOM.COM LIMITED, Mr Chang's day to day duties at Metro will be assumed by Mr Kam Kwok-leung, Deputy CEO.
