While cash and cash equivalents and other financial assets at amortised cost are also subject to the impairment requirements of HKFRS 9, the identified impairment loss was immaterial. Trade receivables and bills receivable The Group app l i es t he HKFRS 9 simplified approach to measuring expected credit losses which uses a lifetime expected loss allowance for all trade receivables and bills receivable. The Group measures the expected credit losses on a combination of both individual and collective basis. Measurement of expected credit loss on individual basis The receivables relating to customers with known financial difficulties or those not responding to collection activities are assessed individually for provision for impairment loss. As at 31 December 2019, the provision of impairment losses in respect of these individually assessed receivables was HK$21,315,000 (2018: HK$20,095,000).
