The buy-back was approved by shareholders at last year’s annual general meeting, and the payment was made out of the Company’s distributable profits with no reduction of capital. The shares were acquired at an average price of HK$0.186 per share, with prices ranging from HK$0 . 176 t o HK$0 . 202 . The t o t a l amoun t o f HK$705,000 paid to acquire the shares has been deducted from retained earnings within shareholders’ equity.
