DAIRY FARM ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Hong Kong, 19th November 1999 - Dairy Farm today announced the appointment of Douglas Stanton as Group Director Human Resources and a member of The Dairy Farm Group Operating Committee with effect from 1 November 1999.
Mr Stanton succeeds John Pearl who will complete his commitment at year end.
Prior to the appointment, Mr Stanton had been a partner for 10 years with Towers Perrin, a major international human resources consulting firm. From 1994 onwards he was Director of Human Resources Consulting of the Tower Perrin's Hong Kong office and was a consultant specialising in international human resources and compensation while working at the company's Chicago, San Francisco and London offices. Mr Stanton also worked for Hay Management Consultants and Rank Xerox in London.
"Mr Stanton is well qualified to take on this important assignment. I am confident that he will lead his team to continue our excellent progress on the people front. We also would like to thank John Pearl for the significant contribution he made to the Group in the past two years," The Dairy Farm Group Chief Executive, Ronald J Floto commented.
Mr Stanton holds an MA degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in the U.K.
