During the Reporting Period, there were no cases of non-compliance noted in relation to the relevant employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Laws of Hong Kong: Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57), Employees’ Compensation Ordinance (Cap. 282), Sex Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 480), Disability Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 487), Family Status Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 527), Race Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 602), and Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485). Health and Occupational Safety The Investment Manager gives major considerations to provide a safe working environment and protect employees from occupational hazards. Furthermore, it is important for the Investment Manager to track with relevant regulatory requirements to make sure that there is no non-conformity occurred. A zero injury culture is cultivated in which each and every employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy working space. These guidelines and standards are outlined in employees’ induction package. These guidelines and standards are subjected to review for continuous improvement.
