| The Group has achieved full Year 2000 compliance by 8th October, 1999. |
The Board of Directors of China Travel International Investment Hong Kong Limited announces that rectification work of the Group's computer hardware and application software systems together with the necessary tests for compliance relating to our business functions have been completed satisfactorily by 8th October, 1999. We are confident that with monitoring system overseeing existing computer systems and contingency measures due to the inherent unpredictability in place, all our Group's systems will be millennium ready.
