CHINA POST PARTNERS WITH FOUNDER ORDER FOR PROMOTION OF POSTAL E-COMMERCE

(Hong Kong - 9 January, 2001) Founder Holdings Limited (SEHK: 418) ( "Founder Holdings" ) today announces that China Post, the postal regulatory authority established under the Ministry of Information Industry of the People's Republic of China ( "PRC" ), has just contracted with Beijing Founder Order System Co., Ltd. ( "Founder Order" ), Founder Holdings' systems integration arm in the PRC, for the construction of China Post's postal e-commerce pilot systems. Through the contract, Founder Order is to provide postal e-commerce related development tools as well as solutions, including on-line shopping, transaction payment, on-line stamp collecting, on-line subscription, etc..

In view of the e-commerce trend in the PRC, China Post has initiated an "E-Post" development strategy, the core of which is to develop postal e-commerce. Based on its traditional delivery network as well as a recently established computer system, China Post now intends to promote postal e-commerce as well as its service to the public to a higher level.

"That is why it is so significant for us to set our hands to establishing in 15 provinces pilot systems for shopping/collecting stamps/subscribing newspaper and magazines on-line", said deputy director of China Post, Mr Wu Shi-Xiong, on the contract signing ceremony.

"For the construction of our pilot systems, we have great developed trust in Founder Order.", Mr Wu added. "They are fully aware of what we need; they have proposed to us a very clear developing plan. The co-operation with Founder Order so far leads s to believe that they have strong expertise in the systems integration business."
