(Hong Kong - 16 March 2001) Founder Holdings Limited (SEHK: 418) today announced that one of its subsidiaries, Founder (Hong Kong) Limited, recently entered into an agreement with CreoScitex Asia Pacific (H.K.) Ltd. ("CreoScitex"), to become the distributor for the latter's Leaf series of digital camera back products in Hong Kong and the Southern China Region.
Using the latest Leaf C-Most Technology, the Leaf digital camera backs ("Leaf products") are dedicated to professional and studio digital photography, providing comprehensive solutions from layout to image capture - all the way to final output. However, the features incorporated not only make the Leaf products attractive to professional photographers, but also make them easy to handle for novice users.
With an aim to more effectively provide Leaf products and promote CreoScitex services to users/potential users in Hong Kong and the Southern China Region, CreoScitex turns to Founder (Hong Kong) Limited, who has been the market leader in electronic publishing systems for years on the said market. These two companies recently entered into a formal agreement for Founder (Hong Kong) Limited to become CreoScitex's Hong Kong and South China general distributor.
With the advancement of technology, the market for professional digital photography is also rapidly maturing. Mr Eric See (Regional Business General Manager of Founder (Hong Kong) Limited) and Mr Eyal Yechezkel (President of CreoScitex Asia Pacific (H.K.) Ltd.) expressed their mutual confidence in the success of introducing CreoScitex's Leaf products to the Hong Kong and South China markets. Both parties agreed that the success is based on the uniqueness of CreoScitex's Leaf products, coupled with Founder's years of experience and extensive sales network for distributing professional digital products. Mr Eric See also foresees that the success in promoting CreoScitex's Leaf products will further push up the sales for some relevant Founder products, such as Founder Colour Management System and Founder Photo Library System.
