(Hong Kong - 31 May, 2001) Founder Holdings Limited ("Founder Holdings", SEHK: 418) today announces that its Japanese subsidiary, Founder International Inc., ("Founder International") recently joined hands with Recruit Staffing Co., Ltd. ("Recruit Staffing") for an outsourcing project specialized for the industry of information technology ("IT") in Japan. Recruit Staffing is a subsidiary of Recruit Co., Ltd, under Recruit Group, specializing in human resources staffing and placement. Its clients include more than 90% of the listed companies in Japan. With the help of Recruit Staffing's extensive client network in Japan, Founder International is to provide IT outsourcing and placement services to many giant Japanese corporations.
Founder International will place its staff to its clients' offices for IT outsourcing services. It is expected that Founder International will recruit over 70 staff for such placement services this year and will recruit up to 250 IT talents by 2003. From such outsourcing and placement services, Founder International expects to increase its yearly revenue by 1.8 billion yen (JPY).
Through such services, it is also expected that the staff of Founder International will gain on-the-job experiences with many giant Japanese companies and will understand more of the customers' needs, which will in turn bring more business opportunities to Founder International.
