Hop Fung Group Holdings Limited Interim Report 2022 46 DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS (continued) SHARE OPTIONS The Company approved and adopted a share option scheme (the “Scheme”) on 3rd June, 2013 for the primary purpose of providing incentive or rewards to selected participants for their contribution to the Group. Under the Scheme, the Board of Directors of the Company may grant options to eligible employees, including executive or non-executive Directors (including independent non-executive Directors), of the Company, its subsidiaries, or any entity (“Invested Entity”) in which any member of the Group holds any equity interest, to subscribe for shares in the Company. Additionally, the Company may, from time to time, grant share options to any supplier of goods or services to any member of the Group or any Invested Entity, any customer of the Group or any Invested Entity, and any consultants, advisers, managers, officers or entities that provides research, development or other technological support to the Group or any Invested Entity. The total number of shares which may be issued upon exercise of all options to be granted under the Scheme must not in aggregate exceed 10% of the shares of the Company in issue as at the date of the passing of the ordinary resolution for adoption of the Scheme.
