Swire Properties Ltd. announced today (18th July, 1997) the sale by ballot of Phase One of The Floridian, the company’s premium twin-block residential development at 18 Sai Wan Terrace, Hong Kong.
Twenty units will be offered in this phase, at an average price of HK$10,823 p.s.f. The units are located on the 5th and the 13th floors of both towers, with sizes ranging from 811 sq. ft. to 1,187 sq. ft.
Ballot registration forms, the price list and the sales brochure for Phase One will be distributed from 21st July, at Swire Properties?sales office on the 1/F, Tower 2, The Floridian. Applications will be accepted on 28th and 29th July, via a collection box at the sales office in Cityplaza 4’s ground floor lobby. Results of the ballot will be announced in Ming Pao Daily and Hong Kong Economic Times on 31st July, followed by flat selection on 1st August.
Two on-site show flats will be open to the public from 21st July, between 10am and 9pm every day.
The first batch of buyers will not be required to pay legal fees covering the purchase and the mortgage provided that they instruct Johnson Stokes and Master to represent them. They will also be able to enjoy a number of benefits and privileges, such as a two-in-one shoppers?and international calling card which entitles its owners to discounts and benefits at a selection of prestigious restaurants and shops specialising in modern living and communications. In addition, buyers will be offered two payment terms, including a flexible "occupation before full payment" option which allows purchasers to occupy the property before paying the balance of the purchase price at the end of this year. Attractive mortgage and bridging loans will also be available from a number of banks, with mortgage rates ranging from as low as 8.625% for the first year.
Comprising 214 units, The Floridian is the first private residential development in Hong Kong to be installed with Hongkong Telecom’s Superior Wiring System and four-in-one sockets in all its units. The newly developed system is designed to enhance telecommunication transmission and to cater for future communication needs such as interactive TV service.
